Kirsty Kelly

41, originally from Edinburgh and now splitting her time between Switzerland and Scotland, Kirsty was involved in YWCA from the age of 7, starting as a drama club member at her local club in Kirkcaldy before becoming President of YWCA Scotland and Vice President of the World YWCA.

She was involved in a domestic violence campaign which led to her speaking at the United Nations Convention in Geneva about child marriage. Her love of music and drama then afforded her an opportunity to sing in front of Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and a Thai Princess.

She was also an incredibly strong and notable representative for The Young Women’s Movement attending the World YWCA conference in Australia, the European YWCA conference and the HIV and AIDs conference in Vienna.
