Fatima Ishaq

21, originally from Dundee and remaining local, Fatima first joined the Young Women’s Movement as a Young Women Know participant and now is a committed Events Volunteer and a European Youth Forum Delegate for The Young Women’s Movement.

Along with this, she has also been a part of the Advisory Collective and has been involved in the projects such as Young Women Lead and Our Fear Struggles. Joining the movement at a young age, Fatima explained the importance of having a physical space, online safety and making room for one another. She also described the transition from YWCA to YWM and expressed her optimism for the future.
