23, originally from Turkey and currently residing in Glasgow, Beste is an active Events Volunteer for The Young Women’s Movement. She described the movement as incredibly encouraging, collaborative and diverse with strong roots in Feminism.

She has been involved in projects such as Young Women Thrive, Engender, and the 100th birthday of The Young Women’s Movement. Her largest takeaways as a volunteer would be the transferable skills gained and friendships created.
