Surbhi Sanklesha

Surbhi Sanklesha

41, originally from and currently residing in Mumbai, Surbhi was a former volunteer for YWCA Glasgow. She described memorable moments of line dancing, cupcake decorating and scrapbooking at the community centre, with her favourite memory being writing and performing a skit for the 100th International Women’s Day.

She also characterised The Young Women’s Movement as a global organisation with a very diverse community that made her feel at home.

Surbhi credited the movement for helping her gain computer literacy, amazing friendships and opportunities to learn.
