Heidi McLean

Heidi McLean

Originally from England and currently residing in Glasgow, Heidi started her journey with the Young Women’s Movement in 2008 as a volunteer before becoming Life-long Learning Officer and now Programmes Coordinator.

While working in Glasgow she helped deliver IT and ESOL courses which provided young women with a range of new skills and personal autonomy.

She also detailed the merger which brought about massive changes to the organisation and newfound connections with local colleges. Lastly, she enthusiastically described The Young Women’s Movement as a feminist organisation and was incredibly thankful for the opportunities and personal development it has provided.
