“As we moved into the third year of our Re-Imagining Scotland for Young Women and Girls strategy, we did so against a backdrop that feels increasingly challenging, and deeply concerning. Across the world we are witnessing a rise in misogyny, growing hostility towards women’s rights and the spread of online harms that disproportionately affect young women and girls. Through our research and programmes, young women consistently told us they are worried about what the future holds, concerned about the rollback of their rights, and frustrated by the inequalities that continue to shape their everyday lives. We hear them loud and clear. This movement has never felt more important.”
