In May 2021, the Young Women’s Movement collaborated with Scottish Women’s Aid and recruited 10 women between 16 and 25 years old from all over Scotland to create an advisory panel and lead work to understand the views of young women in Scotland around what a healthy relationship looks like, and what domestic abuse is.

They helped design a national research project around these issues and we are proud to announce our findings. This research is vital as we wanted to understand where young women and girls look for support and advice when they are faced with abuse from someone they are in an intimate relationship with, and how Scottish Women’s Aid can help them in that situation.
