Young Women Thrive The Science of Skin Colour

Join The Young Women’s Movement and Glasgow Science Centre for a STEM workshop on the Science of Skin Colour. This workshop will explore the science, evolution, and stories that shape our differences and similarities. You’ll also have the opportunity to extract DNA from a strawberry!

This event is targeted at 16-25 year old young women (incl. trans women) and non-binary people who feel comfortable in a space that centres the experience of young women. Reasonable expenses supporting your attendance will be covered, and food will be provided.

Young Women Thrive is a series of wellbeing focused workshops targeted at young women to share experiences, learn skills and create positive change. This series is funded by the Glasgow Wellbeing Fund.
