Sidrah is an AI Ethicist who is dedicated to ensuring that AI-enabled harms are not only highlighted but actively challenged and addressed in a world where AI hype takes the spotlight.  

Sidrah’s journey to become an AI Ethicist and advocate for responsible tech has not been a straightforward one, navigating a squiggly career from a management consultant, briefly a user researcher, a product manager, a freelance content creator to an AI ethics consultant!  
Throughout her career journey Sidrah has held her values of diversity, inclusion and equity at the heart of everything she does. From leading the embRACE network at her last company to educating others on how AI can harm minority and vulnerable communities through training, workshops and AI governance courses.  

Sidrah’s notable achievements has been creating AI Ethics content for BBC Scotland, delivering talks and panel discussion on AI Ethics at industry events to working for Ethical AI Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to advancing AI that aligns with human values.  

Sidrah never shies away from a challenge and has continued to push the boundaries to help educate others and empower them to create or influence technology that aligns with their civil liberties. Sidrah created her own website www.aiethicshub.co.uk, without any coding experience, for technology teams to think about AI ethics and governance in the early stages of creating a product.
