Izzy is a dedicated neurodivergence and disability consultant, advocate, and activist. She has collaborated with numerous organizations working on environmental and socio-economic sustainability, aiming to reshape narratives through her lived experience. Passionate about fostering inclusion, her work focuses on bridging the gap between sustainability and accessibility, ensuring that disabled people are invited to participate meaningfully.

Izzy’s advocacy began in her youth when she founded her school’s Gender & Sexuality Alliance and participated in environmental campaigns, earning the prestigious ECIS award for global understanding. She later studied sustainable development, psychology, and social anthropology at the University of St Andrews, providing her with a strong foundation to address complex issues of a transition towards a sustainable future. Her academic education and lived experiences have coalesced into her signature approach of authentic inclusion, which she applies to all her undertakings.

Currently, she works on an advisory panel for the Scottish Government’s LDAN bill, serves as an ambassador for AccessAble UK, and consults with public and private organizations on disability inclusion. In addition, she has led an interactive workshop at ITAKOM to increase awareness of the shortcomings the education system still holds for young neurodivergent people.

Driven by her own experiences as a disabled person, Izzy is committed to improving public transportation and pedestrian accessibility, as she believes that accessibility is central to sustainability. She emphasizes collaboration and bottom-up approaches to create meaningful, actionable change, working closely with key stakeholders and government officials to advocate for a more inclusive future.
