Toni has volunteered with the Scottish Care Inspectorate since she was 18. She’s care experienced and, as a Young Inspection Volunteer, she visits children’s homes around Scotland, and speaks to the children living there.

Toni currently lives in Glasgow with her two year old son and is pregnant with her second child.

In 2018, Toni was selected to be the First Minister’s mentee in a one year programme. She will be mentored by Nicola Sturgeon – taking Toni one step closer to achieving her goals and ambitions. Toni is passionate about breaking the stigma around care experienced young people in Scotland.
