A qualified Social Worker with care experience herself, Rosie has worked to improve the lives of care experienced children and young people across Scotland for the past 6 years.

Her previous roles included being the participation lead for children in secure care and those with seldom heard voices, LOVE co-chair and discovery group member at the Independent Care Review. She now works as the participation and policy advisor for the Centre for Excellence of Children’s Care & Protection (CELCIS), where she is helping to embed the voice of the care experienced community into all that CELCIS does. Rosie has previously won a Young Scot of the year award, Strathclyde Women in Leadership Award and is a fellow of the Acumen Academy for the 2021 UK cohort.
