My name is Layla Cooke (BSLCooke) I am 15 years old and I live in Scotland – Fife. I am deaf and I have anxiety. I wanted to raise awareness of BSL and also some awareness about being deaf so I created social media accounts which have been amazing and everyone is so so supportive! I post popular songs in BSL/SSE and I also post topics and common words in BSL too. I have taught Lewis Capaldi how to sign happy birthday, been on stage with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, I have also signed stories for the cast of River City and I have received awards for my hard work promoting BSL/SSE.
