I am a young south Asian woman that is passionate about removing stigma, breaking barriers and being your authentic self.

I have a degree in Adult Nursing, a Post Graduate in Sexual & Reproductive Health Theory, worked as a nurse for 5 years and I currently work for a youth-facing charity but my career is the least interesting thing about me! After a tough year in 2021, I had a complete mental health breakdown and I really lost who I was as a person. I decided to leave my career as a nurse and document my mental health and well-being journey on social media. By documenting my journey and speaking as honestly as possible I truly believe I am helping break down stigmas within my community and now almost a year on and I am finally beginning to understand who ‘Hadia Aslam’ really is.
