I’m super passionate about supporting young people to reach their potential and I envision a world where young people can do so, free of barriers!

I am a member of the Scottish Youth Parliament, a member of Dundee Youth Council, and work in the youth work scene in Dundee. I’m also incredibly passionate about mental health. I am a trustee at Feeling Strong, a youth mental health charity in Dundee, and I’m particularly interested in breaking the stigma surrounding Mental Health in south-Asian communities. I have experience in campaigning on a range of issues, for example, I worked with YWCA Scotland, NSPCC, and Dundee City Council to create a campaign called “Oor Fierce Girls”, looking at tackling peer sexual abuse and raising awareness of healthy relationships! Aside from work, I love coffee, cats, and musical theatre, and it’s my lifelong dream to finish Grey’s Anatomy (season 11 going strong!).
