Chloe has recently taken over ownership of Folk Creative Space in Edinburgh. This is a trans-owned, inclusive creative space.

Chloe is a neurodivergent trans hairstylist from Cork, Ireland, whose work blends creativity, activism, and community care. In September 2020, she moved to Scotland in search of a more diverse trans community and clientele.

Since then, Chloe has become a big part of Scotland’s queer and trans scene. In 2022, she raised funds for OutRight International and LGBT Health and Wellbeing by cutting hair for 25 hours straight. She has also hosted multiple pay-what-you-can haircut pop-ups for the queer community and raised over £3,000 for her Trans Haircut Fund, which provides free haircuts to trans individuals in need.

For more than a decade, Chloe has been involved in trans activism across Ireland and Scotland. She was the voice of the EU campaign CONVEY, which aimed to raise awareness about sexual violence within the trans community.

In 2025, Chloe opened Saoirse Studio in Abbeyhill, Leith. Named after the Irish word for freedom, Saoirse Studio is envisioned as a safe sanctuary for queer hairstylists and clients — a space where identity, artistry, and care intersect. The studio not only offers inclusive hair services but also hosts events, workshops, and collaborations for the wider queer community.
