Caitlin is a final-year medical student at the University of Glasgow. She is a keen mental health advocate, in part responsible for developing and running Glasgow Nightline’s training and recruitment process (2020/21).

However, her main focus has centred on improving gender-based violence (GBV) awareness amongst medical professionals, helping develop and integrate GBV teaching into her university’s medical curriculum. She is now working towards making such teaching more widespread across the country. Her publications, regarding GBV, have gained national attention, with her videos gaining 10s of thousands of views and her writing being featured in various media outlets including The Scotsman and BBC.
