Caitlin Alexander
Location: Glasgow
Caitlin has recently graduated with a Law degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow. She is a passionate campaigner for human rights, which is evident through her work as an immigration advisor. Caitlin also coordinates free sessions on the EU Settlement Scheme to help EU citizens with identity verification and the application process.
Caitlin is also a dedicated fighter for women’s rights and victims of sexual violence. In addition to her work in immigration, Caitlin volunteers as a victim support officer to help survivors of sexual violence during the challenging trial process. She also facilitates sexual violence workshops to educate people on the law. She is outspoken in her experiences of disability and being LGBT in order to help others.
Her interest in law is grounded in an “overwhelming need” to help people less fortunate than her. She aims to use her degree to allow not just her own voice to be heard, but for those who can’t yet speak up.
