I care deeply about many things – as do all the amazing women I know. I work in the third sector at Young Scot as Programme Development Manager and am passionate about digital accessibility, widening access and youth empowerment.

Previously I have worked in the media with roles in PR and TV – I’ve always had a focus on communications and working with others. Outwith work, volunteering has always been a really big part of my life, and I am currently one of the volunteer blog editors at YWCA Scotland, where I get to read everyone’s amazing blog submissions. I care a lot about the arts and sit on the board of Magnetic North Theatre. Something else I care a lot about is housing rights. Currently, I am the chair of Living Rent Gorgie Dalry – my local branch of Scotland’s tenants union. We fight for fair housing and justice for tenants all over the country through national campaigns around rent controls, short-term lets and the climate crisis as well as locally around housing and community issues. I love reading and writing and have been really lucky that through being involved with Living Rent as well as other opportunities, my writing has been featured in Tribune, The Skinny and Potluck Zine. I have a bi-monthly radio show ‘Trash Talks’ on EHFM community radio about reality tv and its impact on society.
