Tor is a Collection & Research Assistant at the National Galleries of Scotland, and an AHRC funded PhD candidate in Art History at the University of Edinburgh. She is passionate about Surrealist art and esoteric cultural heritage, especially folklore and occultism in Scottish Archaeology. Her current research focuses on the female artists of British Surrealism, such as Edith Rimmington, Ithell Colquhoun and Emmy Bridgewater.
