Anise Pearson Aka Queen of Harps is a mixed-race, Scottish / Malaysian-Chinese, Youth Practitioner and MC based in Edinburgh.

Anise supports young Black People and People of Colour at Intercultural Youth Scotland, in finding and growing their creative passions. Under the alias of Queen of Harps, she performs in venues across the UK. Her work touches on her experiences of trauma, divulging her past transparently through heartfelt lyrics. Using her own clarsach compositions in her music and elements of spoken word in her rap Anise combines these two and is bringing an innovative sound, definitely one to watch!
