Our events are influenced by our programmes and research. We work with young women and girls to co-design events that meet their wants and needs.

Get ready for a lively discussion with Deborah Frances White and friends about stopping the Road to Gilead – is the UK on a slippery slope? The Edinburgh satellite discussion is organised by The Young Women’s Movement, The David Hume Institute and volunteers. The Guilty Feminist presents: The Road to Gilead, An Open Space discussion day Stop feeling helpless and join the national conversation! A day of discussion, ideas and plans for activism to create a more empathetic society with The Guilty Feminist Podcast.

Young Women Thrive: Self defence

Join The Young Women’s Movement and National Centre for Health and Fitness for a self defence class. Young Women Thrive is a series of wellbeing focused workshops targeted at young women to share experiences, learn skills and create positive change. This series is funded by the Glasgow Wellbeing Fund.
