Event volunteer
At The Young Women’s Movement, we run events for young women and girls; practitioners working with young people; and stakeholders in the community and on a national scale. These events are run in various locations across Scotland. We are looking for 8 volunters to support the delivery of these events.
Location:
Various locations across Scotland, with online co-design sessions
Hours of work:
2 online co-design sessions per year
2 in-person events per year
Duration:
Ongoing. Volunteers may end their engagement with us at any time.
Deadline to apply:
20th January 2025
Role expectations
- Attend 2 x co-design online sessions per financial year (April – March)
- Attend 2 x in person events per financial year (April – March)
- Represent The Young Women’s Movement brand and values with integrity
Experience & requirements
- Young women and people of marginalised genders who feel comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of young women and girls are welcome to apply if aged 16–30 and living in Scotland
- Good people skills and excellent communcation skills
- You do not need experience in events, but a willingness to learn is key
