Libby Smith
47, originally from Glasgow and remains a local, Libby also has a rich history with The Young Women's Movement. She is the active Business and Finance Coordinator and has spent time as a Volunteer Manager, Health and Safety Officer, Internal IT Support, Facilitator and a PA to the Coordinator.

Katie Bradley
Early 30s, originally from Paisley and remains a local, Katie was a member of the Young Women Lead project. She helped develop a digital map of safe spaces for women in Renfrewshire and also had the opportunity to visit parliament and meet with Scottish MPs.

Kara Olayinka
Kara Brown (now Kara Olayinka) was Director of The Young Women's Movement from 2016-18, the youngest CEO in the history of YWCA at that time*, aged 27. Along with a team of brilliant women, Kara re-branded the charity into 'The Young Women's Movement'; she affiliated Scotland to the European YWCA; she founded the Status of Young Women in Scotland research, 30 Under 30 List, the first Advisory Panel, and Young Women Lead. Kara was the youngest of 10 women who advised on the World YWCA 2035 Envisioning Strategy then became Director of Women's Engagement for World YWCA in 2018.

Jessie Service and Isabel Flemming
Isabel Fleming (1890 - 1983) and Jessie Service (1888 - 1958) were Scottish missionaries involved in the YWCA who travelled widely, working in countries including Egypt, Japan, China and Malawi.

Isabel Carr Smart
71, originally from East Lothian and currently residing in Edinburgh, Isabel was the former Scottish Director of the YWCA. She was involved in the violence against women campaign, Play in Hospitals and helped build a new community centre for the organisation.

Helen Hood
70, originally from Doncaster and currently residing in Edinburgh, Helen was the former President of YWCA Scotland. She was involved in many diverse initiatives throughout the movement including teaching maternity English to women who had English as a second language, Play in Hospitals and creating women's only spaces to include Muslim women.

Originally from England and currently residing in Glasgow, Heidi is an active volunteer for The Young Women's Movement and spent time as a Life-long Learning Officer and Now Programmes Coordinator for the movement as well.
