Join us and our friends at Project Change to make zines (and friends!)

This is an event for young women and girls aged 16–30 who are care experienced*. This is an open, drop-in event which you can join at any point and stay for as long as you like.

A creative practitioner will be there to help you make a zine, and all materials will be provided.

This event is all about bringing people together to explore how care experience and gender intersect. Through creativity, we’ll celebrate diversity, spark ideas, and build connections.

If you’re planning to join us, registering via the button below will help us get a sense of numbers. This is optional though, so please do drop in even if you haven’t signed up!

*Care experience is a term that describes someone who has, at any point in their life, lived away from their birth parents. This might include living with foster carers, in a residential home, with extended family or friends under a kinship care arrangement, or through other forms of state-supported care.
