Eleanor Gall

Age: 26
Location: Glasgow

Eleanor has been writing since she was a young child although she admits that her early work consisted of rambling and embarrassing diary entries that she has since stashed away in boxes in cupboards. Growing up in Aberdeen and later moving to Glasgow to study English Literature at university – she very quickly fell in love with the Glasgow.

After graduating, Eleanor worked in Uganda and then in London, before joining Girls’ Globe, a platform for women and girls to start conversations about issues that matter to them, like gender equality, social justice, reproductive rights, politics, motherhood, technology and culture – driven to amplify their opinions, stories and ideas. As Editor-in-Chief of Girls’ Globe, this incredible network of girls, young women and organisations, Eleanor now writes articles about issues affecting women and girls in Scotland and around the world.
