Claire is a councillor of a vast rural area of East Ayrshire called Ballochmyle.

Shortly after being elected, she quickly made it to the Depute Provost of East Ayrshire. At 27, she is not only one of the youngest councillors in her county, but also one of the youngest to ever hold a civic position in the whole of Scotland. To top it all off she also holds the position of Children’s Champion. An absolute inspiration for all young women who want to be more politically active, and would like to stand for election!
